Meet Dr. Atul Joshi, a dedicated and experienced General Dentist born in Guelph, Ontario. Dr. Joshi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University in 1993 and has been passionately practicing dentistry ever since. In addition to his dental degree, he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from McGill University, reflecting his strong academic foundation and commitment to understanding the science behind exceptional patient care.

Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Joshi is known for his attentive, patient-focused approach and dedication to making every visit as comfortable and positive as possible. He believes that excellent dentistry begins with listening to patients’ needs, building trust, and continually advancing his knowledge to provide the highest standard of care. His commitment to lifelong learning allows him to stay current with modern techniques and technologies while delivering personalized treatment tailored to each individual patient.

Alongside his general practice, Dr. Joshi has a special interest in complex cosmetic and restorative cases, where he enjoys helping patients achieve transformative results while maintaining long-term oral health and function. He takes pride in creating natural, healthy smiles that not only improve appearance but also boost confidence and overall well-being.

Dr. Joshi is also certified in Therapeutic Botox and Invisalign® treatment, offering patients additional treatment options to support both comfort and facial wellness as part of a comprehensive approach to care. Outside of the office, Dr. Joshi enjoys staying active, spending time with family, and watching his beautiful children grow up — something he considers one of life’s greatest joys.

Meet Dr. David Campbell, a dedicated and experienced General Dentist with a passion for helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Dr. Campbell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University in 1978 and has been proudly practicing dentistry ever since. In 1985, he opened this practice with a vision of creating a welcoming, community-focused dental office where patients of all ages could feel at ease.

Born in Renfrew and raised in Aylmer, Dr. Campbell has remained closely connected to the community he proudly serves. His personalized approach to patient care, combined with decades of experience, allows him to build lasting relationships with generations of families who continue to trust him with their smiles.

Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Campbell is committed to promoting healthy habits that support lifelong oral health. He believes in treating every patient as an individual, taking the time to listen, educate, and provide care tailored to each person’s needs and comfort level.

Known around the office for his warm personality, quick wit, and constant humming, Dr. Campbell brings a lighthearted energy that helps patients feel relaxed from the moment they walk through the door. Whether he’s sharing a joke, catching up with longtime patients, or helping someone overcome dental anxiety, his goal is always the same: to make every visit a positive experience.

Outside the office, Dr. Campbell enjoys staying active by hitting the golf course whenever he gets the chance, where he continues his lifelong pursuit of the perfect swing. When he’s not golfing, Dr. Campbell loves spending quality time with his grandchildren, who do an excellent job of keeping him on his toes and making sure he never slows down for too long.

Meet Dr. Jo-Anne Matheson, a dedicated and experienced General Dentist with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Dr. Matheson earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in 1988 and has been proudly practicing dentistry ever since.

Originally born in Edmonton, Dr. Matheson spent much of her childhood traveling across Canada and abroad as part of a military family before ultimately choosing to serve herself. She joined the military as a Dental Captain, balancing her military career while also opening and growing her own private practice. After years of dedicated service, Dr. Matheson transitioned from military dentistry to focus fully on caring for patients in private practice.

Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Matheson is known for her compassionate, gentle, and non-judgmental approach to patient care. She understands that many patients experience lifelong dental anxiety and takes pride in creating a calm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, informed, and comfortable. Her warm personality and thoughtful communication style help patients build confidence in their oral health while achieving healthy, beautiful smiles.

Dr. Matheson is also certified in Therapeutic Botox and in Laser Dentistry, allowing her to incorporate advanced techniques that enhance treatment precision, comfort, and overall patient care. She also offers both Invisalign® and traditional braces as part of her comprehensive orthodontic care options.

Outside of the office, Dr. Matheson leads an active and vibrant life. A former competitive figure skater, she continues to stay involved in the sport today as an official figure skating judge — combining her lifelong love of skating with her keen attention to detail. She also loves traveling, discovering new restaurants and cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie, and keeping busy with family life. Above all, Dr. Matheson cherishes spending time with her husband and their two beautiful daughters.

Dr. Brandon Hersh was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec.

PHILOSOPHY

He is dedicated to providing ethical, pragmatic, preventative, and patient-centered care. He views dentistry as a team effort and always makes sure to collaborate with those under his care to arrive at the optimal treatment plan.

His favorite thing about being a general dentist is the valued relationships he gets the opportunity to build between him and his patients. Outside of dentistry, his hobbies include running, hiking, tennis, travelling, and singing/songwriting

EDUCATION

He has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science along with his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from McGill University.

He has Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from the University of Rochester Eastman institute for Oral Health.

Meet Dr. Mais Sweidan, a dedicated Periodontal Specialist with a strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. Dr. Sweidan earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University in 2010. She then moved to Vancouver, where she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Vancouver General Hospital and the British Columbia Cancer Centre, with a focus on surgical dental care and pain management. In 2011, she relocated to Ottawa, where she practiced general dentistry before being accepted into the Periodontal program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

At UNC, Dr. Sweidan completed a rigorous three-year specialty residency in Periodontics, encompassing comprehensive periodontal care, oral pathology, and implantology. During this time, she also earned a Master of Public Health (MPH), further strengthening her commitment to preventative care and population health. Since 2015, she has been proudly practicing periodontics in Ottawa, where she continues to provide advanced, patient-centered care.

Dr. Sweidan is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a board-certified Periodontist with the American Board of Periodontology.

Known for her approachable style and great sense of humor, Dr. Sweidan is dedicated to making periodontal care as comfortable and stress-free as possible. She takes the time to educate and support her patients, helping them feel informed and at ease throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sweidan enjoys traveling, practicing martial arts, and spending time outdoors, where she stays active and recharged between her busy clinical and academic pursuits.

Meet Dr. Roy Hudson, a dedicated and experienced General Dentist with a longstanding commitment to patient-focused care. Dr. Hudson earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University in 1985 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Queen's University, providing a strong academic foundation for his lifelong dedication to oral health.

Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Hudson is committed to promoting overall wellness as a key component of maintaining a healthy smile. He believes in providing lifelong, relationship-based care that supports patients in achieving their individual oral health goals. His thoughtful and personalized approach helps patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns, while ensuring they are guided and supported every step of the way.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hudson leads a full and active life. He is kept busy by his wonderful children and enjoys making the most of family time. He is passionate about travel, embraces the discipline and balance of hot yoga, and is actively involved in the Ottawa Muay Thai community, where he values both the physical challenge and sense of camaraderie the sport provides.

Meet Majid Ahangaran, a compassionate denturist committed to helping patients restore confidence in their smiles. Majid brings a strong combination of clinical skill and technical expertise to every case. His experience in denture treatment allows him to approach each patient’s needs with both confidence and creativity, ensuring individualized and well-crafted solutions.

Majid is deeply committed to continuing education, consistently expanding his skills and knowledge to stay current with advancements in denture care and technology. He works closely with the entire dental team to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care for every patient. His calm, approachable, and non-judgmental manner helps patients feel at ease while understanding how modern denture treatment has evolved to become more comfortable, natural-looking, and effective than ever before.

Outside of the clinic, Majid enjoys watching movies, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and beautiful baby daughter.
